Highlight of the weekend!! Pumpkin Spice Latte BOOYA!!
It might be too early to write today since I just got home and am very sad to be back. I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! I love the mainland. That's so weird to write. I can't wait to move back. Yea, I'm thinking of moving back in December. It was so wonderful to experience fall. The weather was cool and wet. It was perfect! A wonderful break from hot and it felt so much like fall. I took wonderful afternoon naps curled up in bed with my book. I had gallons well maybe not gallons but lots of pumpkin spice lattes!
sidenote: there will be lots of explanation points in this post.
I got to spend time with wonderful friends!! I can't even tell you how much it blesses my soul to spend quality time with wonderful friends. Now, when I say quality time I am referring to hanging out with Judi and making complete fools of ourselves in as many public places as we can get to. For some crazy reason the minute we get within five feet of each other we instantly revert back to our good ole' Evangel days. It does me good to laugh so hard that I just can't even stand up. I forget the world around me and just think about how I am going to escape the current situation we have gotten ourselves into. I think that's good for my soul????? Really, at lunch we had the pour guy convinced I was his sub last year in Science. He was so excited to see me. I would imagine since we were sitting in Texas and he went to school last year in Michigan. Of course we went to Kent's office and hung out in the afternoon and watched You Tube videos that cracked us up. I LOVE MY TEXAS FRIENDS!!!!!!!!
The majority of my weekend was spent hanging out with Pat. We had a blast!! Went to a really fun Texas game. Got to see the campus in part due to the fact I said the game was at 1 and it started at 6. It was a fun road trip and it was fun seeing new things together. Stopped at an awesome gas station. Saw a real oil rig. Saw the Texas motor speedway. Just a fun day. The game was so awesome!! I started to get a little weary toward the end but Pat keep me in there and I was glad.
On Sunday we got to go to the Village, which is this wonderful, totally cool church that Pat goes to down in Denton. I have listened to Matt Chandler online quiet a bit so it was fun getting to go. I loved the church!! If I lived there I would totally be into it.
Me with a weird face on the way to the game.
Patrick on the way to the game.
Really cool cupcake truck! I love cupcakes!
This was the awesome game! It was a blast!!
It was a great weekend! I loved hanging out with Pat and laughing. Hanging with Judi and Kent and being our goofy selves. It was one blessing after another kinda weekend!!!!!!
