So out here on the island of Oahu pumpkins are no big deal. This is like the end of the world for me. I love fall!!!! It's my favorite season. I love the leaves, the smells of fall, and the pumpkins!! Anything pumpkin!! I really love pumpkin spice creamer. So I have looked all over the island I can't find it anyone. I went to Starbucks last night and got a pumpkin spice latte which made me a very happy girl. You can find me there everyday now.
I have also searched high and low for a pumpkin patch. Nothing! Found one but it has been shut down due to some kind of unethical labor practices. Nice huh???
Here's the saving factor. Tomorrow I head to Texas to visit friends. Yes, a little break off the island and guess what, it's cool in Texas this weekend. I am soooooo happy. I have pumpkin spice creamer waiting for me. I'm taking my favorite Mackinac Island jacket, great memories. My girlfriend has two sweet little girls that will pumpkin me to death. That sentence is kinda weird. Anyway, I'm getting so excited to have a little fall. I'm also trying to figure out how to sneak a pumpkin back on the island with me. You have to sign a paper on the plane saying you won't bring anything like that onto the island. We'll see. My next blog title might be "My night in Jail". hee hee

I too love a good pumpkin patch!!! i miss fall... it's my favorite season. i long for sweaters...cool breezes... and a good reason to drink eggnog (not that i don't drink it now.. um..)so glad you got to see true fall this week!!!
